Janus Marketing Ltd has over 28 years experience locally, nationally, and internationally in the fields of marketing research and strategic marketing planning.

Customers for Life Director, Jim Bruce previously held management positions at the Bank of Ireland – Irelands leading bank and also developed a successful Customer Satisfaction Measurement programme for the Bank of Ireland and this is now as a case study at Harvard University – USA.


Key Personnel

Judy Cormick – Company Principal

Judy has over 30 years experience in the field of Marketing Research, Marketing Planning, Marketing Implementation and Company Management.
Her introduction onto these fields was in 1975-1980 when she was responsible for the launch of a new product into the United Kingdome and Europe. This position required numerous skills, not the least of which was negotiation with working with a wide variety of executives from different countries. This experience culminated in the launching of her own business in 1980.

Since then, Judy has been the principal of Janus Marketing Ltd and over that time has been involved with numerous marketing related projects nationally and internationally. These projects have required a mix of skills in quantitative and qualitative research disciplines such as facilitation, analysis and reporting of focus groups, one to one in depth interviews, surveys, formulation, implementation & analysis of local and national quantitative surveys, preparation and implementation of marketing plans and in working closely with the clients at all levels to ensure that the work produced is relevant to the brief, workable and actionable with tangible targeted results.
Marketing research gathers feedback about customer’s needs and what it takes to satisfy them. The Janus Marketing Customer Satisfaction Measurement programme is a natural culmination of over 20 years experience and adaptation to today’s business climate.


Christine Toner BHSc, MBA – Associate

Christine Toner works as a Coach, Facilitator and consultant in Strategy, Marketing and Planning. Her specific areas of expertise include: marketing, marketing research, strategy development and planning. Christine provides independent, professional help for business and organisations that enable them to: attract and retain more customers, increase sales, improve profitability, develop sustainability, enhance their sense of workplace community. She employs various disciplines, including individual in depth interviews, group interviews, questionnaires, desk and internet research, personal coaching and group facilitation, to gather information and to work with that data to change behaviours, develop new systems and programmes, design communication programmes and develop business and promotional plans. Clients include professional, commercial, industrial, local government, not for profit and educational organisations.

Christine works with individuals and teams at all levels in any organisation. She is natural and honed skills in gaining rapport and communication with people in all ‘walks of life’ - resulting in high quality feedback. She is highly skilled at gathering a large mass of data/sorting/analysing this to produce meaningful information.


Charles (Charley) B. Lamb B.Com (Ag) (Cant) - Associate

Associate Professor, Head of Marketing, Commerce Division, Lincoln University

Charley has extensive experience in lecturing marketing management subjects, with his specialist areas being marketing research and consumer behaviour. As the longest serving marketing lecture at Lincoln University he has been a regular guest lecturer at other institutions such as Auckland and Canterbury Universities.
In being chosen as the inaugural winner of Lincoln University Special Achievement Award for Excellence in Teaching, Charley was cited for his innovative teaching, application of his consulting experience and use of modern technologies, He has extensive consultation experience for a wide range of organisations in both the public and private sectors, and regularly runs seminars on marketing, for a variety of businesses. His special areas of interest are in market structure analysis, technology in marketing, marketing of organic products and customer satisfaction measurement.

Charley’s research areas are market structure analysis, opinion polling, surveying, forecasting, technology in business and environmental issues, specifically consumer demand for organic food products.
